Non - Emergency Medical Transportation

Everyone is eligible to use this service regardless of age, disability or income.  We will pick you up at your home and take you directly to your scheduled appointments.  This service is designed to give you rides to doctors' offices, hospitals, dentists and other  medical facilities.

 

If you are Medicaid certified, Tri River Transit will bill Medicaid directly.  The cost for others is based on trip length.

 

 

How to schedule a Non-Emergency Transportation Service

1.  For best service call at least three (3) days in advance.

2.  Same day service can be provided, but scheduled trips may limit availability.

3.  We pick you up at your home and we take you to the doctor, dentist, hospital or other medical facility.

4.  If you are Medicaid certified, Tri-River Transit will bill Medicaid directly.  Reasonable fee for service for other riders.  Call for the exact amount from your home to the doctor's office.

5.  Trips to the doctor are provided on air conditioned, heated, safe and fully insured vehicles driven by trained, friendly drivers.

6.  For a ride call between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday.

    Note:  Individuals not willing to provide proof of income will be charged the 100% rate of $20.00 and .75 cents per mile after 30
