serve on the Board of Directors of the
Regional
Family Resource Network,
whose
mission is:
…to facilitate a system of
prevention, education, and early intervention activities aimed at enabling
families, children, and their communities to reach their fullest potential
through community-based planning activities.
and whose vision is:
…a family-centered,
community-based environment that promotes comprehensive quality healthcare and
educational/vocational/economic opportunities in a setting that encourages,
values, and nurtures all of its members.
A family representative is a non-provider
who has experienced the human service system and has the energy and motivation
to participate in the above mission and vision by being a member of the RFRN
Board of Directors.
A family
representative can receive reimbursement for mileage, day care expenses and a
meal to attend the Board meeting, Putnam FRN meetings and approved trainings.
Board meetings are held on
the first Friday of each month at 12:00 p.m. in
